A first-person account of service at the Armed Forces Radio Station in Saigon in 1964/65. This is the station featured many years later in the Robin Williams movie Good Morning Vietnam. 1964/65 was a landmark point in the history of U. S. involvement in Viet Nam, when President Johnson ordered military dependents out of the country and sent in American combat units, some up to division size. Unlike in the Robin Williams movie, this memoir presents the realities of AFRS Saigon
without any Hollywood embellishments.
