Sandy Dugger can be found asking people to hold and reboot their computers by day. But at night she can often be found working on her own computer – writing.

Originally from Oregon, Sandy now lives in a small town outside Phoenix Arizona. At almost thirty she went back to school and received a Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences.

She was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy under DADT. Even though she is now unable to re-enlist she still supports her military brothers and sisters. She enjoys spending quiet days at home with family and friends. Sandy loves to read, play games (all sorts), catch up on her DVR, and travel to new places.

Sandy’s New Book: FUTURE PROMISES

Sandy Dugger Future PromisesRose Thomas has spent the last few years riding horses and mending fences at a women’s only dude ranch. Life is going great for the wrangler until she receives news of the passing of a relative. The journey home leaves her with new options for her future and a handful of journals that were written during the Civil War. Now she gets to read about the stories that she had listened to growing up, but as she turns the pages, she realizes some things had changed over time.

Keri Masters has spent her life trying to make her parents and her boyfriend of eight years happy. Before she is set to join her parents and their medical practice, she has a few things she needs to do: break up with her boyfriend and take a long overdue trip west. When she arrives at the dude ranch, she is drawn to Rose and is forced to face feelings she hasn’t acknowledge for a long time.

Under the hot Arizona sun, Rose and Keri’s feelings for each other start to heat up, as does the story in the pages that Rose continues to read. But as the two women grow closer, their time together is cut short. Will Rose find a happy ending between the pages of the journal, and will she and Keri be able to find their own happy ending?

Another Treat for Sandy Dugger Fans: EDITING LIFE

sandy dugger Editing LifeBailey Hutsell ran from her best friend for fear of a broken heart. After ten years in the Navy she returns to the home she grew up in. While attempting to acclimate to civilian life she has to juggle a new job, her sister’s health issue, a new group of friends, and the heartache of having to see her nightmare come true when her best friend starts dating someone new.
Shayla Horton has buried herself in her bookstore and the escape that her books provide. She didn’t think she would survive when her best friend ditched their high school plans and joined the Navy. Now she has to deal with Bailey returning to her life. Her emotions are in turmoil as one moment she wants to throttle her best friend and in the next moment she longs to pull her close and never let her go. She is able to avoid her feels with the new woman who captures her attention.

Can two women both hurt move forward with friendship. Will their attempt to edit the past to write a new future be able to withstand the trials life throws at them?

GOOD WATER

The dry plains drew Judy Proctor like a bear to her den…or a moth to the flame. Ranching was her life. The sweat as she branded or “doctored” cattle…the howl of a coyote in the quiet, night air … half-frozen fingers as she cut the wire to loosen hay bales for hungry cattle scratching for survival in snow-covered land…all of the everyday existence on the ranch was her life. …..It was where she belonged…….It was a lonely life.

She had tried to leave the ranch to join the “normal” existence of a talented young woman in the city, but it had never been home. When her parents were killed……….

The Kiva and The Mosque

kivaAnswers rarely come from expected sources. The need for answers to save a troubled humanity forces Kidwell Brown and Aisha Sudda, two total strangers, into roles they never could have anticipated. Kidwell and her life-partner, Anna Montoya, live a quiet life in their mountain home until the day Kidwell is drawn to visit the Kiva cave at Bandelier National Monument. Hundreds of miles away, Aisha Sudda Fletcher lives another quiet existence, along with her husband, Greg, until the day she is drawn to visit a garden beside a vandalized mosque.

On that day, both Kidwell and Aisha are chosen. These humble women soon learn that the time of prophets has not yet passed. Their mystical guides direct the women to “find their allies,” and so the lives of Kidwell, Aisha, Anna and Greg are forever intertwined. They will face victory and exile, mystery and certainty. In the end they may well change humanity.

About the First Book and Series:  The series is set in Tia Keating’s group home, where all of the foster kids have magical gifts.  Firestarter Kayla Cruise has been kicked out of another foster home, her twelfth, and she’s back at the railroad tracks where she always finds solace. Surprisingly, a woman shows up there as an apparition, offering something Kayla had been longing for all her life, a forever home. Not just any home, Tia Keating runs a group home for teens with special gifts…gifts like the ones Kayla has spent years running from. The problem is that when something feels like it is too good to be true, it usually is. Evil is stalking Kayla and her new family….   The authors  are well on their way to developing a truly bombastic and breathless adventure in Finding Fire, the sequel to Finding Home.

Meet the Co-Authors:

Liz Author PhotoLiz McMullen has had a passion for history and world religions since she was a little girl looking up at her Dad as he told her stories. She fed her addiction to politics, history, mythology, and religion while at Mount Holyoke College and during her junior year abroad at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. She went backpacking around Europe, visiting all the places she had been reading about. Although her title as the Traveling Where’s Waldo of the family has been retired, her wanderlust lives on in her writing. Liz is an author, mentor, publisher, and documentarian. Her debut novel, If I Die Before I Wake, is a Rainbow Award Finalist.

Shelia Powell was born to loving parents in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. She was raised with her “Aunties” who “just knew things,” and was therefore able to develop and hone her psychic skills at their knees. She has helped others with her spiritual coaching for as far back as she can remember. Her readings always offer optimism and evidence that we all remain connected in spirit, even after death.

Shelia PowellThe first psychic-medium ever used on The Travel Channels Ghost Adventures, Shelia is known for her special blend of homespun humor and gentle compassion. She has a large client base spanning several countries. Among her clients are people from all walks of life including physicians, lawyers, other psychic mediums, teachers, business owners, professional athletes, award winning authors, and soccer moms. Shelia also has an ever-growing celebrity base which includes stars of Baywatch and Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, as well as cast and/or crew of House, Entourage, Brothers and Sisters, CSI Miami, Melrose Place 2009, 90210, Star Trek (2009, 2010), We Are Men, Mad Men, Dallas, and Masters of Sex, to name a few. Shelia is a Certified Spiritual Coach, Intuitive, Empath, Medium, ULC Minister, and Reiki Master.

Shelia has been writing her whole life but finally published her first book, Memoirs Of The Happy Lesbian Housewife, in October 2014 under the nom de plume of Lorraine Howell. It is a finalist for a Goldie Award. The stretch into paranormal books was a natural and necessary progression.

S.Y. Thompson

S. Y. Thompson joined the Marine Corps at the age of seventeen and spent ten years serving her country. Her unit was sent to Beirut twice in the 80’s. After two tours in Lebanon and participation in the invasion of Grenada, she returned to the States and decided it was time to lay down roots. Instead she joined the San Diego Sheriff’s Department and spent another seven years in law enforcement before an on-the-job injury forced retirement. Her days now are filled with writing and playing with her dog and cats (plus the stray cats that drop by for dinner on a daily basis).

SY-Thompson-Beyond the GardenS.Y. started writing when she was 9. She remembers sitting at the table asking her mom how to spell words. All of that took a backseat to life, until she got out of the Sheriff’s Department. She started writing Janeway/Seven fan fiction in 2000. She now has 71 various stories on her website, SYThompson.com. This segued naturally to writing novels.

S.Y.’s latest book is: Beyond the Garden. Beyond The Garden chronicles the story of the first woman, Lilith, and illustrates that she was not as portrayed. Lilith is not a demon, but a woman wronged by her creator. Her only goal after so many years walking the Earth is to find a way to die. As an immortal, this isn’t as easy as it sounds. Adding to her dilemma is an incredible woman who gives her a reason to live. Beyond the Garden is more than a Garden of Eden story. It also explores alternate explanations for the origin of modern humanity.

Two of her books: Destination Alara and Under Devils Snare are up for “Goldie” awards this year. Destination Alara is one of S.Y.’s all time favorites and her only space opera to date.

S.Y. is a prolific writer who is constantly working, sometimes on more than one story at a time. As for writing style, she says she is old fashioned and writes in longhand before transferring her work to a computer. S.Y.’s collection of work encompasses amazing stories in a variety of genres including: space opera, fan fiction, mystery, paranormal, science fiction and romance. She brings life and depth to amazing characters and lesbian themed romance.
