“By slow degrees he recovered, and ate a little soup, which restored him wonderfully, although not without incessant declarations of how it did not compare to the butternut squash potage at Marcel’s.”

In this 7,300 word mash-up re-telling of the Walton Letters that introduce Mary Shelley’s classic gothic horror novel, Robert Walton, an underachieving pot dealer from Spokane, navigates a beat up RV towards Las Vegas with noble plans to save the family home from foreclosure. One evening while stuck in the desert en route, he and his crew witness a giant figure gliding across the desert horizon, “as if propelled by some magical force.” Their first inclination, that it might just be the weed, is extinguished the next morning when another figure — an emaciated Victor Frankenstein, corrupt Washington super-lobbyist extraordinaire — bangs his failing Segway into their RV and falls to the ground, before asking for an espresso. An incredible request for a man in such a state, particularly given the nightmarish dream of revenge that he is chasing after, a dream that will be recounted in a full mash-up edition of Frankenstein to be released during the 2016 election season: that of creating the perfect presidential candidate out of individual body parts, each sponsored by special interest groups and corporations that gain control of a percentage of the candidate’s brain, based upon how much they contribute.

Some friendships with young Pentagon aids who work in top-secret Robotic Humanoid Intelligence departments are not strategic, others are.

Humor/Quotation Book:

The revised and updated second addition of “SNAPPY SAYINGS: wit & wisdom from the world’s greatest minds,” by Bradford Wheler, was released today by BookCollaborative.com in paper and ebook form. The book is the culmination of several years of extensive compiling and research into the wisdom of over 350 of some of history’s most insightful people. Wheler’s detailed work includes 22 simultaneously illuminating and entertaining chapters. Each chapter fuses humor, wit, wisdom, history and criticism into its pages of interwoven quotations. Controversial topics have not been avoided, as Wheler addresses religion, politics and society all through the informative lens of some of history’s greatest minds.

Snappy Sayings contains a foreword from Jay Walker, the founder of Priceline.com and Walker Digital, who describes the collection as “a book to be tasted or sipped, much like one might pour oneself a small after-dinner drink from a bar stocked with hundreds of exotic liqueurs.” Dr. Mark J. Tierno, President of Cazenovia College comments on the book, “Bradford Wheler’s Snappy Sayings is a useful treasure trove of entertaining and insightful quotations drawn from an extraordinarily wide range of history’s most notable thinkers and personalities. I recommend Mr. Wheler’s volume to public speakers…and to anyone who just wants a really good laugh.”

About This Project

This is definitely not your average children’s Bible! If you thought the bestseller “Go The F**k To Sleep” was inappropriate for story-time with kids, you haven’t seen anything yet! Leave it to the Bible!

How well do you know the Good Book?
Awkward Moments 2
What began as a private online gag among interfaith friends quickly grew into a book to meet the demands of adoring fans! Combining actual Bible verses with more than 30 whimsical original illustrations, Awkward Moments uses humor to encourage people from all walks of faith to think, perhaps for the first time, about how the Bible continues to shape our culture.

Let’s be honest – there are some things in the Good Book that are just… awkward! There are verses we’d like to forget or that have been changed throughout the centuries. There are many verses you’ve never heard before in church, let alone seen in your average children’s Bible! Not to mention the verses that have been added over the centuries!

Awkward Moments Children’s Bible is much more than an irreverent book for your coffee table! Readers of all faiths will find themselves laughing out loud while being encouraged to think about the Bible in a new way.

New in Volume 2:

STILL NOT FOR KIDS! If you thought our first bestseller was inappropriate for kids, this volume is barely appropriate for adults! More incest, genocide, talking animals, wrestling matches, martyrs, abortion, magic, homosexuality and selficide! What would Jesus do? You might be surprised what His own family thought of Him!

From the opening foreword by Evangelical pastor, author, and professor Dan Kimball (of Vintage Faith Church), to the challenging commentaries in the second half of the book, Awkward Moments Children’s Bible is much more than an irreverent book for your coffee table! Readers of all faiths will find themselves laughing out loud while being encouraged to think about the Bible in a new way.

The Goal? Awkward Moments encourages readers to really understand what is in their Bibles and think for themselves about the context of Biblical teaching. The 32 color illustrations and included commentaries will likely challenge some readers to reflect on how religion continues to shape the lives and culture of future generations. If readers happen to laugh out loud and enjoy the interactive puzzles and games in the mean time – it’s just an added bonus!

The Artisan:
An Artistic Assassin Thriller

by Dyal Bailey

Warning: This thriller novel is filled with instances of dark and irreverent humor and purposefully pokes fun at things that are generally taken seriously.

Also, if you are someone who might be offended by an asexual, Machiavellian villain or a charming, metrosexual, serial-killer-like assassin, this is definitely not the best book for you.

On the other hand, if you crave intricately woven plots with humor, mystery, and suspense at their best, a kindle and paperback thriller book with 2014 panache, and over-the-top mystery, then you will love this newly released thriller by one of the most unique debut novelists of all time.

The Story:
Beautiful biochemical assassin, Rafaela, works for the CIA making untraceable hits, wherein she infects targets with viruses that cause “natural” deaths. Burnt out, she decides to take a few days off to help a fellow scientist do the more meaningful biochemistry she longs to someday embrace.
Little does she know, her colleague is unwittingly being used as bait. His request for her help is step one in luring her straight into a deadly web. And although she thinks she’s impervious to being made vulnerable in any way, she arrives on her seemingly innocuous vacation and soon falls in love!
By the time she realizes this strike of Cupid’s arrow is part two in the evil design of her sadistic nemesis—it’s already too late.

Meet the Author: Dyal Bailey

dyal_baileyThree-year-old Dyal Bailey was sent home early from pre-school for reading aloud the picture book “How Babies Are Made” to her formerly uninformed classmates. This seemed to confirm her suspicion that books were powerful and reading them would give her access to that power.

As a teenager, she consumed two to three large bags of books every week, and although her mother supported her habit, Dyal was often in trouble for not answering her call to dinner. So consumed by what she was reading, the book had to be physically yanked from her hands before she would become alert and return to reality.

Having gobbled up books in every genre by the time she was a freshman at the University of Florida, she decided to sign up for a writing class. Sadly, her grandmother died and the funeral caused her to miss her first two classes. When she did appear, her professor had apparently experienced far too many dead grandmothers, and kicked her out of the class. But, as providence would have it, a sister in her (newly pledged) Chi Omega sorority saw Dyal crying in the hallway, and sent her to the university’s Greek advisor for reassurance and class reassignment.

The advisor couldn’t squeeze her into another writing class, but he did approve her transfer into “Opera Appreciation” with an older, yet enthusiastic professor. After the first notes of Bizet’s Toreador Song came throbbing from his over-used speakers, she was hooked for life. Although she never did make it back into a college writing class, she continued to scribble her mental ramblings onto a plethora of notebooks……..READ MORE….
